Born in Victoria, BC, Canada, Aija was raised in snow and freezing temperatures. All though she will always be a Canadian at heart, Aija has taken on the aussie surfing culture. But, that's about all. She hasnt warmed to Vegemite, Cricket or "The Castle" three aussie classics.
Today
Today, Aija lives with Danny in Bar Beach, Newcastle. Just a three block walk from the beach. ( The walk wasnt her idea.) She has taken on everything that our climate has thrown at her including, Blistering Sun, Ice Cold Rain and even Floods. However none of these have disheartened her want to be here.
Canada
Although shes lived here for one and a half years, she will still always call Canada home. She cant bear to leave her beloved Hockey behind.
